Florida Woman Arrested After Incident With State Trooper

While left-wing cities like Minneapolis spiral deeper into chaos with anti-ICE riots and open hostility toward federal law enforcement, Florida just sent a loud and clear message: This is a law-and-order state — and actions have consequences.

An incident in Jacksonville on Tuesday put that message on full display after a woman, reportedly furious over an immigration enforcement operation, lashed out at state troopers. According to Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, the woman didn’t just yell and wave signs — she attacked law enforcement. And in Florida, that doesn’t fly.

Gov. Ron DeSantis addressed the situation directly during a press conference and delivered a knockout reminder of how his state handles lawbreakers: “This is not Minneapolis. That is not going to end well for you in Florida.”

He wasn’t kidding.

The woman, identified in local reports as “Cruz,” was taken into custody and now faces a long list of charges, including resisting an officer with violence, battery on law enforcement, and driving with a suspended license. A video posted by Julio Rosas shows the moment after her arrest — and let’s just say, her outburst didn’t exactly work out the way she planned.

This incident isn’t just about one person losing their temper. It’s part of a much bigger picture.

In red states like Florida, law enforcement works with federal immigration officers to uphold the law and remove criminal illegal aliens from communities. In blue states like Minnesota, radical Democrat leaders are stirring up mobs against ICE, calling agents “invaders” and “occupiers,” and accusing them of “atrocities.”

It’s no surprise where the violence is breaking out.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz have poured gasoline on the fire, making it clear they’d rather appease the woke mob than support federal agents doing their job. But Florida’s Governor DeSantis is having none of it. Under his leadership, the state has taken bold steps to crack down on illegal immigration — including the creation of “Alligator Alcatraz,” a temporary detention facility in the Everglades where illegal immigrants are processed for deportation.

DeSantis has made it clear: law and order will be upheld, ICE will be supported, and if you come looking for a riot, Florida is not the place.

The contrast couldn’t be more obvious. Blue states coddle chaos. Red states enforce the law.

As 2026 approaches, voters would do well to ask themselves: do we want a country that punishes law enforcement — or one that stands behind it?
