Dental Staff In Hot Water After Video

Ladies and gentlemen, it seems some people just don’t know when to keep their bad behavior to themselves.

A shocking video making the rounds on social media has exposed a group of staff members at Premier Dental Group of Knoxville for mocking a cancer patient’s private thoughts—right there in the office. Yes, you read that right. These geniuses thought it was a good idea to laugh at a patient’s diary, all while recording the whole thing and sharing it online.

In the video, which was apparently posted by an employee who clearly missed the memo on basic human decency, you can see a staff member reading aloud from a cancer patient’s journal, with their colleagues laughing in the background. This isn’t just unprofessional; it’s downright cruel. And as you might expect, the backlash was swift and brutal.

Premier Dental Group of Knoxville tried to do some damage control, posting a half-hearted apology on Facebook. They acknowledged the “inappropriate video” and claimed to be investigating the incident. But here’s the kicker—their Facebook profile disappeared not long after. Talk about trying to sweep things under the rug.

This isn’t the first time Premier Dental Group has found itself in hot water. Last year, the practice shelled out nearly $1 million to settle a lawsuit involving accusations of scamming Tennessee’s Medicaid program and putting patients at risk with unqualified staff and unnecessary procedures. So, it seems like they’ve got a bit of a track record when it comes to shady behavior.

As word of the video spread, social media exploded with outrage. People are understandably disturbed, questioning how these employees could find humor in something so personal and sensitive. And the fact that these are the same people handling patients’ private information every day? Well, that’s enough to make anyone think twice about who they trust with their health care.

This entire incident is a reminder of just how low some people can sink when they think no one’s watching—or in this case, when they think everyone’s watching and they just don’t care. Premier Dental Group might want to spend a little less time deleting their social media accounts and a little more time teaching their staff about respect, privacy, and common decency.
