In Clearwater, Florida, a 20-year-old man, Khanye Medley, is currently in police custody after allegedly launching a fried chicken attack at his sister during a dispute in their shared residence. According to authorities, the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon following a heated argument between Medley and his sister.

During the altercation, Medley reportedly grabbed a bag of Church’s Chicken from his sister and proceeded to hurl pieces of chicken at her. One piece hit her in the back and left food debris on her shoulders, police say.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered that this was not the first time that Medley had engaged in physical violence against his sister. In a previous incident, he had allegedly bitten and strangled her and also struck her with a piece of wooden decor.

When questioned, Medley admitted to throwing the chicken and stated that he did so because he was upset and hungry. He declined the chicken piece his sister had offered him and instead chose to throw it at her. This volatile behavior resulted in Medley’s arrest for domestic battery, a misdemeanor offense.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Medley has been involved in a domestic altercation with his sister. Earlier this year, he was arrested for similar charges, but the case was ultimately dropped as his sister did not wish to press charges against him.

Despite Medley’s reported admission and past behavior, it is important to note that he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The State Attorney’s decision to decline the felony and misdemeanor charges in the previous case highlights the significance of due process and the need for sufficient evidence to support a criminal conviction.

As of now, Medley remains in custody and is facing charges for his alleged actions.
