Communists Burn American Flags Outside Jason Aldean Concert

Recently, a group of activists gathered outside a Jason Aldean concert in Chicago, determined to make a statement.

The protesters are associated with RevCom, or the Revolutionary Communist Party, which seeks to create a Marxist revolution in the USA and proclaims it the “belly of the beast.” The RevCom activists burned multiple American flags to gain attention and support for their cause.

The group has long praised Chairman Mao for using the “scientific method” and the aspects of the Cultural Revolution he sought to create. In addition, the group was referencing Aldean’s recent song “Try That In A Small Town,” which was released in May but found little traction until their music video debuted in July.

This sparked backlash from critics who saw the messaging as being critical of the Black Lives Matter movement and protest.

Although Aldean responded to this claim of the song being pro-lynching and that the nationwide BLM protests were not being fully appreciated, the RevCom protesters wanted to show their disapproval of some of the societal values being represented.

Consequently, they used the burning of the American flags to illustrate how they felt about it, and, unfortunately, police had to declare the assembly unlawful due to their agitation of others.

As of yet, the RevCom group has not responded to the incident. Whatever their agenda, it is clear that their strong message stands for something they believe in and will continue to raise awareness of their cause until they receive positive attention and support.
