A heartwarming moment happened during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address to Congress Tuesday night, when he made 13-year-old DJ Daniels, who had survived brain cancer and dreamed of becoming a law enforcement officer, an honorary agent of the Secret Service.
According to the New York Post, Trump said Daniel had always dreamed of becoming a police officer before being diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018.
“The doctors gave him five months at most to live,” Trump said. “That was more than six years ago. Since that time, DJ and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true.”
“And tonight, DJ, we’re going to do you the biggest honor of them all,” Trump said. “I am asking our new Secret Service Director Sean Curran to officially make you an agent of the United States Secret Service.”
Congress erupted in cheers at the news, with lawmakers shouting “D-J, D-J,” while Daniels look shocked and elated to receive his official Secret Service identification before giving Curran a big hug.

To the democrats that could not stand up for a young man that has brain cancer who was honored by president trump you should be ashamed of yourself.
How are we supposed to find common ground with people who cannot see an objectively amazing action?
