Kamala Harris is back on the media circuit — not because she’s accomplished anything of note in the last few years, but because she’s trying to sell a book. Again. And as expected, every stop on her sympathy tour just adds another chapter to the already-lengthy volume called Why She’s Not Ready for Prime Time. You’d think after years of polling in the single digits, she might’ve picked up a little self-awareness, but nope — instead we got emotional interviews, political revisionism, and a healthy dose of “woe is me” spin dressed up as empowerment.
Let’s start with her interview with Jaime Harrison — you remember him, right? Former DNC Chair and losing Senate candidate with a track record about as inspiring as a DMV line. He managed to choke up on camera when sharing that his wife once asked when a Black woman would finally be president. Touching? Maybe. But also wildly off base. Because Kamala didn’t crash and burn in the 2020 primaries because of racism or sexism. She flamed out because voters, including her own party’s base, simply didn’t like her. Her approval numbers were tanking before she even made it out of Iowa. People weren’t lining up to vote for her, and it had nothing to do with her identity — it had everything to do with her record, her awkward delivery, and her total inability to answer a question without word-salading it into oblivion.
Once again, Kamala Harris acts like she is trying to remember a script she was given, and when she forgets she fills in the blanks with a bunch of unnecessary adjectives.
Between her cackle and use of meaningless adjectives … she makes my skin crawl.

But sure, let’s rewrite history and pretend she was robbed.
🚨 BREAKING: Kamala Harris tells Americans they should be LOVING DEI Justice Ketanji Jackson
“Read her dissents. They are BRILLIANT” 🤯
Is this drunk woman serious?
Even Jackson’s own COLLEAGUES called her out for not understanding the Constitution! pic.twitter.com/tJI2S3G8LM

Then came the Jimmy Kimmel appearance, where between awkward giggles and a few desperate book plugs, Harris floated the usual talking points and made a few eyebrow-raising comments. The Epstein files question? Finally, someone asked it — and surprise, surprise, Kamala gave the same answer every administration gives when they don’t want to touch something politically radioactive: “We believe in DOJ independence.” Right. Just like when the DOJ raided Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago in a legally murky move that looked more like election interference than law enforcement. That kind of independence?
Kimmel: Why didn’t the Biden/Harris admin release the Epstein files?
Kamala: “Perhaps to our damage we strongly and rightly believed that there should be an absolute separation between what we wanted as an administration and what the Department of Justice did.”

Let’s get real. If those Epstein documents had anything remotely incriminating about Donald Trump, they would’ve been public before the ink dried. But somehow, with Democrats, former presidents, celebrities, and a whole cast of swamp dwellers allegedly hovering around Epstein’s orbit, the files stay sealed and the questions stay unanswered. And now Kamala’s claiming the Biden-Harris team didn’t push for their release because they wanted to stay “hands-off”? Please. The same team that launched a hundred legal assaults against Trump suddenly found religion on neutrality when it came to the biggest sex trafficking case in modern history? That’s not principle — that’s political self-preservation.
But perhaps the most cringe-inducing moment came when Harris recounted her call to President Trump after the alleged assassination attempt in September 2024 — you know, the one where he was shot at on a golf course by Ryan Routh. According to Kamala, Trump was in the background promoting his book while she was trying to express concern. Let’s set aside whether anyone believes that anecdote actually happened the way she tells it (spoiler: we don’t). The gall here is unreal — Harris wants us to believe she was the adult in the room during that call, while also using the story to… promote her book. Because of course she did.
It’s political theater at its laziest — framed as compassion, delivered as PR, and laced with just enough smugness to make it obvious she’s still nursing political aspirations for 2028. She wouldn’t commit to running, but she made sure to leave the door cracked open. Because in her mind, she’s just one emotional DNC chair away from finally convincing America she’s ready.
Spoiler alert: she’s not. Harris has never figured out how to connect with voters beyond curated talking points and media-friendly platitudes. Every time she steps in front of a camera, she reminds us why her presidential campaign barely got off the ground. Whether it’s fluffing up Ketanji Brown Jackson’s dissents as “brilliant,” parroting buzzwords like “equity” and “heartbeat” with zero legal weight, or dodging real questions about transparency, Kamala proves time and again that she’s all style, no substance.
“[Kamala Harris] is done politically — whether she knows that I don’t know. But I’ve got to give the woman props: she has turned failing upwards into an art form. She was a do-nothing attorney general in California, a do-nothing senator, she got to be a DEI vice president, ended… pic.twitter.com/oOOLE2XYw0

So sure, she can keep doing the talk show circuit and pretending she’s the moral compass of the Democratic Party. But when 2028 rolls around, the American people won’t be fooled. They’ve seen the act before — and they know how it ends.
