President Trump Talks Indictment and Accountability

Well, well, well. Looks like the house of cards is finally starting to wobble. James Comey, the media’s one-time golden boy and self-proclaimed savior of American democracy — has just been slapped with a federal indictment.

Obstruction of a congressional proceeding and giving false statements. Not exactly parking tickets. And you’d think this would be a front-page apocalypse moment for the folks over at CNN, MSNBC, or even a mild headline on NPR. But nope — suddenly the liberal media has amnesia. “Oh, this is retaliation,” they cry. “Political persecution!” Funny how quickly the moral high ground erodes when it’s one of their own in the hot seat.

Let’s rewind a bit. Remember when Comey strutted around like the last Boy Scout in Washington? Remember the breathless coverage of his book tour? The hero edits, the “truth-teller” narratives, the gleeful appearances on late-night shows like he was the second coming of George Washington? Yeah. Now he’s facing charges for lying under oath — not once, but in a way that even the best Clinton spin doctor couldn’t explain away.

President Trump didn’t hold back. Speaking to reporters before hopping on Marine One, he said flat out: Comey lied. And guess what? He didn’t think he’d get caught. And that’s the entire point. These people — the self-righteous bureaucrats, the career political actors cloaked in faux neutrality — they never think the day will come when someone calls their bluff.

And Trump didn’t stop there. He dropped the real headline in classic Trump fashion: There will be others.

That’s not just a prediction. That’s a shot across the bow. A warning. A promise. Pick your metaphor — the message is the same: Comey might be the first, but he won’t be the last. And if you’re someone who spent the last decade pulling political strings under the illusion of impunity, you might want to cancel that book deal and lawyer up.

Oh, and let’s talk about that “weaponized justice system” Trump keeps bringing up — the one the media insists doesn’t exist. The one used to raid his home, indict him four times, and stretch legal imagination just enough to invent crimes when none existed. For years, the Left told us that Trump was the one eroding institutions. Turns out, they were just projecting.

This isn’t revenge. It’s long-overdue accountability. If anyone else had lied to Congress — on a nationally televised stage no less — they’d be behind bars faster than you can say “Hunter Biden’s laptop.” But Comey? He got a book deal, a blue check, and a Netflix series pitch. Because when you’re part of the club, the rules don’t apply. Until now.

And here’s the kicker — the statute of limitations on Comey’s congressional lies would’ve expired in just days. That close. Which makes the timing all the more delicious. That ticking clock wasn’t just background noise — it was a countdown. And the Justice Department finally blinked. Maybe they couldn’t stomach the optics of letting one of the central architects of the Russia collusion hoax skate off untouched.

Remember, this is the guy who kickstarted the phony Russia narrative — the same lie that haunted Trump’s presidency from Day One. The lie the media gorged on for ratings. The lie that gave birth to impeachment attempts, FBI raids, taxpayer-funded investigations, and endless hours of sanctimonious lectures from people who swore they were just “protecting democracy.”

But now? That fake narrative has a new headline: Comey Indicted.

And here’s what really should have every swamp creature sweating through their taxpayer-funded suits: if Comey’s been indicted, who’s next? Clapper? Brennan? Strzok? Page? Remember, they weren’t just playing politics — they were running a full-blown influence operation using the intelligence community, the press, and yes, the Justice Department itself to kneecap a sitting president.

Trump said it clearly: you can’t let this happen to a country. Because once you do, it’s no longer a free republic — it’s a banana republic in a nice tie.

This isn’t about one indictment. This is about the whole damn iceberg finally surfacing. The same people who swore they were “saving democracy” may soon be forced to answer for what they actually did to it.

And if Trump’s right — and he usually is — buckle up. The Comey indictment isn’t the end.

It’s just the opening act.
