As the violence across New York City continues to escalate, another shocking incident was captured on surveillance video earlier this week in Woodside, Queens.

A man was seen creeping up on a couple, walking their dog, and trying to hit them before they turned the tables on him, leaving him with multiple stab wounds. The 37-year-old man was caught on camera trailing the duo and tossing his coat on the ground before launching an attack.

However, the couple, who were walking with a dog near 49th and Broadway, quickly fought back and left him with head wounds and multiple stab wounds. The man was taken to the hospital and remains in stable condition.

The attack comes after a string of brutal violence in the city, including the murder of a 29-year-old woman in Upper Manhattan. Investigators believe her ex-boyfriend was responsible for the brutal stabbing.

This incident is just one of many in a recent surge of deadly violence involving teens and young adults. In another terrifying incident, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the head after leaving school in Queens. This marks yet another attack targeting students in the city.

These incidents are a reminder of the rising crime rates in New York City, which have steadily increased over the past few years. There is always talk of gun violence, but these attacks show that teens are also arming themselves with knives. It is a frightening reality that places innocent people at risk every day.

With these recent attacks, it’s clear that something needs to be done to ensure the city’s citizens’ safety. Mayor Bill de Blasio needs to take a stronger stance on crime and find solutions to combat this terrifying trend of violence. Otherwise, New York City will continue to be a dangerous place for all residents, especially teens and young adults who are vulnerable to these kinds of attacks.
