Squad Members Speak at Panamerican Congress Event

Oh, it must be campaign season again—how else do you explain six sitting members of Congress taking a little field trip down to Mexico City just to trash the United States of America in front of a bunch of leftist ideologues who openly want to dismantle capitalism and dismantle America’s global leadership?

That’s right. While President Trump is neck-deep in the fight to secure our borders, deport criminals, and end the massive illegal alien invasion, members of our own Congress are playing global social justice warriors, applauding radicals who describe America as the “lynchpin of imperial violence.”

Let that sink in.

At the Panamerican Congress—a name that sounds like it should be about strengthening ties across the Americas, but is really just a cosplay event for global Marxists—Squad members like Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley were joined by other Progressive Caucus darlings, including Delia Ramirez of Illinois. And Ramirez, well, she didn’t waste time. She proudly declared—in Spanish, no less—that she is “a proud Guatemalan before I’m an American.”

Let’s pause right there.

This isn’t a college activist or a celebrity with a podcast. This is a U.S. congresswoman. Paid by American taxpayers. Elected to serve American citizens. Standing on foreign soil, speaking to a room of left-wing foreign bureaucrats, and declaring that her loyalty lies elsewhere. And the crowd? Loved it.

Of course they did. Because the whole summit wasn’t about unity or progress. It was about demonizing the United States—our military, our economy, our values. The event was co-hosted by Progressive International, a group that says capitalism is a virus that must be eradicated. And their idea of progress? Dismantling the U.S. military, weakening our institutions, and redistributing global authority to nations that literally burn American flags in their street parades.

And Democrats—elected Democrats—clapped along like it was a live taping of “The View.”

And it didn’t stop there.

Ramirez accused the U.S. of “imperialism,” “militarization,” and “conquest.” She wasn’t alone. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, Summer Lee — they were all there, nodding along like it’s some revolutionary TED Talk instead of a taxpayer-funded attack on American sovereignty. Apparently, it’s not enough to push anti-American rhetoric on the House floor — now it has to be exported internationally, too.

And just for good measure, Ramirez made sure to spotlight that her husband is in the country illegally. You read that right. A sitting member of Congress is proudly promoting that she’s in a “mixed-status marriage,” with her husband being in the country against the law. And she’s using her platform to fight for “DREAMers like him.” Can we just pause and appreciate the twisted logic here? It’s not just that laws don’t apply — it’s that defying them is now framed as virtuous.

But maybe the most telling moment came when Colombia’s deputy minister literally praised Rashida Tlaib as a “symbol of resistance”—you know, because of her unwavering defense of anti-Israel protestors and her consistent efforts to portray Hamas as misunderstood. The crowd gave her a standing ovation.

This was less of a conference and more of an international echo chamber for people who hate the idea of a strong, sovereign, and secure United States.

Meanwhile, back home, President Trump is catching heat for—wait for it—defending the border and deporting criminal aliens. Apparently, protecting your nation is a radical idea now.

But don’t worry—Trump’s not backing down. While these Progressive Caucus cheerleaders for open borders and anti-American rhetoric are busy networking with foreign Marxists, Trump is negotiating peace deals, strengthening national security, and putting the interests of American citizens—you—first.

“These Democrats’ comments are despicable and underscore their commitment to putting Americans last,” White House spokesperson Liz Huston stated. “In stark contrast, President Trump is working tirelessly to secure peace deals, deport illegal alien criminals, and advance America’s interests at home and abroad.”

And this is where it gets real.

Because when elected officials begin declaring that their identity lies elsewhere… when they openly support lawbreaking because it hits close to home… when they align themselves with groups that think the U.S. is a violent empire, not a force for good… you don’t just have a policy disagreement. You have a crisis of loyalty.

So here’s the uncomfortable question no one wants to ask: If these lawmakers are more proud of their ancestry than their country, more loyal to ideological movements than the Constitution, and more interested in dismantling America than defending it… why are they still in Congress?

Go ahead, ask it.
