President-elect Donald Trump will use two Bibles on Monday as he begins his second term as president of the United States.

According to a report in The Hill, Trump will use a Bible his mother, Anne MacLeod Trump, gave him in 1955.

The gift marked Trump’s Sunday Church Primary School graduation at First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, N.Y., per the Trump Inaugural Committee.

The inside cover is signed by church officials and includes an inscription of Trump’s name and details of when it was given to him.

Trump will also be sworn in with the Lincoln Bible, first used for President Abe Lincoln’s swearing-in ceremony in 1861.

“It has only been used three times since, by President Obama at each of his inaugurations and by President Trump at his first inauguration in 2017,” Trump’s team states. “The burgundy velvet-bound book is part of the collections of the Library of Congress.”

Former President Barack Obama used the Bible when he was inaugurated at in 2009 and 2013.

Trump used it in 2017 when he was sworn in for his first term as president.

Vice President-elect JD Vance will be sworn in with a Bible that belonged to his maternal great-grandmother. His grandmother gave him the Bible in 2003 when he left for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in South Carolina, per the committee.

Many approved of Trump’s choices, per postings on X.
