Former vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) seemed to bring something special to the table when then-Vice President Kamala Harris chose him to be her running mate in 2024.
Code talk.
“I could code talk to White guys watching football, fixing their truck” and “put them at ease,” Walz explained during his “listening tour” at a Harvard Kennedy School forum on Monday, Fox News reported.
HAHAHAHAHA. Tim Walz says Kamala picked him as a running mate to give “permission” for white dudes to vote for a radical black/Indian woman:
“I could code-talk to white guys watching football, fixing their truck – I could put them at ease.”

Walz said he was valuable to Harris’ candidacy because he enticed White rural American men to vote for Democrats.
“I think I’ll give you pretty good stuff, but I’ll also give you 10% problematic,” Walz said, adding why that message did not reach to reach a larger audience. Walz also addressed inconsistencies in his background on the 2024 campaign trail, calling himself a “knucklehead.”
Walz told CNN’s Jake Tapper in early April that he is more inclined to take on a third term as Minnesota governor than running for president in 2028. Walz said the Democratic Party needed a collective 2028 presidential campaign and not choose a particular candidate.
“I think we need to collectively run a presidential campaign without a candidate right now that builds all the infrastructure … by the time we get to 2028, we’re ready,” Walz said.
He added, “We would have won,” if the Democrats did what he wanted to do in 2024. Now, the party is embracing podcasts as well as rallies to get its message out.
“There is room for Gavin Newsom’s podcast, and there is room for Bernie Sanders’ rallies,” Walz said.
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) has reached across the aisle to invite conservative guests onto his podcast, saying he is open to “criticism and debate without demeaning or dehumanizing one another.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders, (I-Vt.) has been on the “Fighting Oligarchy” tour with potential 2028 presidential candidate, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) to get their message out.
Walz, while on his “listening tour” was heckled by veterans recently for claims of “stolen valor.” He was also criticized by Republicans for celebrating Tesla’s stock drop.
Walz has been unable to escape his “Tampon Tim” nickname he garnered after a bill providing free menstrual products to “all menstruating students” in school restrooms grades 4 to 12, including the boys’ room.
The governor said the party wins on the issues and “competency,” but “we lose the message, and we lose power.”
“Why have we lost the self-identity that the Democratic Party is for personal freedoms, middle-class folks, for labor folks. How did we lose it, where people didn’t self-identify with that? How did we get to a point where people didn’t feel like this was an important enough election to get out and vote?” Walz said Monday.
Walz’s speech took place the day before President Donald Trump’s 100-day celebration, and what that means to him.
“If you leave a void, Donald Trump will fill it,” and, adding, “If I ever had 100 days to live, I would spend it in the Trump administration because it’s like a lifetime.”
Hey @Tim_Walz, when your signature move is jazz hands, you’re not as up on the “white guy code” as you think you are. pic.twitter.com/ljUqFn6bKL

“It’s been 100 days of destruction. You think we can survive 550 more? That’s the challenge. That’s how long it is until the midterms,” he said.
Breaking: Tim Walz says Kamala picked him because he can “code talk to white guys” who watch football and fix trucks.
Because nothing screams blue-collar masculinity like Tim Walz—who looks like he calls AAA when the check engine light comes on.
