Two members of the Israeli parliament were thrown out after disrupting President Donald Trump’s address to Knesset.

The Jerusalem Post reported the two were Aymen Odeh, an Arab Israeli and member of the Hadash alliance, and Ofer Cassif, a far-left politician who is also a member of the Hadash coalition, per The Hill.

Watch:

Odeh held up a sign that said “Recognize Palestine,” as he was ejected.

He the posted on X.

“They removed me from the plenum just because I raised the simplest demand, a demand that the entire international community agrees on,” he wrote.

“To recognize a Palestinian state,” he continued. “To recognize this simple reality.”

“There are two peoples here, and neither is going anywhere,” he added.

Cassif also took to X, stating that their protest was “to demand justice.”

“This is the sign I raised together with my friend

@AyOdeh,” he started.

“We didn’t come to disturb, but to demand justice,” he wrote. “True peace that will save both peoples of this land from destruction will only come with the end of the occupation and apartheid and the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.”

Refuse to be occupiers!

Resist the government of bloodshed!” he added.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has refused to agree to the recognition of a Palestinian state. He does this even though he signed Trump’s 20-point peace plan that is supposed to lead to a sovereign Palestine.

Trump has not recognized a State of Palestine.

The protest against Trump’s speech came as the last living hostages held by Hamas were released. They were kidnapped during the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack by Hamas.
