Indiana Woman Charged After Remarks About President Trump

Let’s take a quick stroll through the upside-down world we’re apparently living in now. Because, in case you missed it, a woman just got arrested in Washington, D.C. after allegedly making multiple, specific, violent threats to assassinate President Donald Trump. And not the “I’m mad and venting on social media” kind of rant either—no, we’re talking bladed weapons, cross-state travel, and multiple confessions kind of serious.

Yet somehow, there’s near silence from the usual “defenders of democracy.”

Here’s what we know: Jeanine Pirro, now U.S. Attorney General for D.C., posted a video Monday that sent a clear message: threaten the life of the President, and there will be consequences. Simple enough, right? You’d think that would be a bipartisan no-brainer. Except… when it comes to Trump, it never is.

Meet Nathalie Rose Jones, 50, of Indiana—who allegedly traveled from New York to D.C. with the apparent goal of eliminating the President. Her words, not mine. According to the DOJ, she went on a social media tirade, calling Trump a “terrorist” and a “Nazi,” and told Secret Service agents, twice, that if given the opportunity, she would end his life. Her chosen weapon? A “bladed object.” That’s not metaphor. That’s not hyperbole. That’s a plan.

She even had a motive laid out: she wanted to “avenge all the lives lost during the Covid-19 pandemic,” which she pinned entirely on Trump and his vaccine policies. Ah yes, because when the facts fail, hysteria makes a great substitute.

Now let’s pause here and ask the obvious: Imagine, just for a moment, that the target had been Joe Biden. Or—dare we go there—Kamala Harris. There would be wall-to-wall coverage, tear-streaked pundits talking about the “dangerous climate of hate,” emergency hearings, candlelight vigils, and hashtags flying faster than Hunter’s legal team can redact documents.

But Trump? Crickets.

Jones confessed to owning the Facebook account where she posted the threats, admitted to saying she’d kill the President, and then—after marching around the White House during a protest—got interviewed again. This wasn’t some keyboard warrior in her pajamas. She showed up.

And the media? Barely touched it. Because, apparently, threats of political violence are only problematic when they target their side.

It’s also worth pointing out: This didn’t happen in 2020. This didn’t happen when Trump was out of office. This happened in 2025. Trump is President again. And he’s already weathered one horrifying assassination attempt last year in Pennsylvania—the one that left firefighter Corey Comperatore dead and the nation reeling.

So let’s just be crystal clear: this isn’t a one-off. This isn’t isolated. This is what years of nonstop media demonization, late-night “jokes” about “killing Nazis,” and open season rhetoric on conservatives has led to.

And what’s President Trump’s response? He’s federalized law enforcement in D.C., launched a major crackdown, and according to Pirro, already racked up 400 arrests, 127 just over the weekend. Guns, drug traffickers, sex predators, illegals—you name it, they’re being pulled off the streets.

And to the Left’s dismay, no, he’s not apologizing for it.

“If you want to be in D.C. and you are a criminal, you are not welcome,” Pirro said.

It’s a far cry from the catch-and-release chaos we had before. And it shows—loud and clear—that the Trump administration is not playing games this time.

So the question is… how long until the media starts spinning this as authoritarian too?

Because when it comes to protecting the President, enforcing the law, and keeping D.C. from turning into an anarchist playground again, one thing’s for sure:

The grown-ups are back in the room—whether the Left likes it or not.
