Nick Shirley is not backing down — and the powers that be are feeling the heat. The independent journalist who dropped a viral bombshell just after Christmas, exposing what he claimed was over $110 million in daycare-related welfare fraud in Minnesota, is back with round two — and it’s already shaking things up.
🚨 After my last video exposing over $110 Million in fraud Tim Walz dropped his run for reelection and multiple federal investigations were launched to stop fraud across the country. In this 51 minute video David and I expose another $16 Million in fraud as Minnesota welfare… pic.twitter.com/p5r6BDXqsK

Shirley’s first exposé went nuclear online, sparking federal investigations and reportedly forcing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to withdraw from his reelection campaign. Now, Shirley and a local source named David are going after what they say is another $16 million in fraud, this time involving “non-medical emergency transportation” scams linked to Minnesota’s welfare system. In their newest 51-minute video, the duo claims that over 1,000 companies — the majority Somali-owned — are pocketing taxpayer funds without actually providing the services.
According to Shirley, his initial investigation didn’t just grab eyeballs — it spurred real government action. He claims it was the most viewed exposé on the internet, prompting the Department of Health and Human Services to freeze $185 million in payments and leading to thousands of federal agents being sent to Minnesota. But the backlash from political elites was swift. Shirley says he was smeared by Walz and other Minnesota Democrats, branded a “white supremacist” and “conspiracy theorist” for daring to dig into the dysfunction.
🚨 JUST IN: Nick Shirley CONFRONTS Somalis in Minnesota at the address where a supposed “transportation business” is headquartered
“This is FRAUD! This is supposed to be Safari Transportation!”

The video shows Shirley and David visiting shady transportation business fronts — many of which are nothing more than empty offices, closed blinds, or locked doors with no sign of activity. While attempting to film, Shirley faces aggressive pushback, including verbal harassment and threatening encounters with individuals clearly unhappy about the cameras.
This is street-level investigative journalism — gritty, raw, and unapologetic. Shirley isn’t rolling with a mainstream press pass or a polished PR team. He’s wielding a camera, asking uncomfortable questions, and putting his safety on the line. And now, with a second exposé rolling across social media, it’s clear that he’s not content to let the story fade away.
🚨🚨Somali Crook gets angry at Nick Shirley for exposing his fraud and corruption!!
They have gotten by with this corruption and are so used to stealing …. It’s their normal way of life.
Its sickening. I hate these Somali criminals. Deport them ALL. pic.twitter.com/YNDPTGixN7

As politicians scramble and legacy media outlets scramble to discredit him, Shirley keeps pressing forward. Whether they like it or not, this story isn’t going away — and neither is Nick Shirley.
