Tom Homan Responds to Jerry Nadler’s ICE Remarks

Oh, this one’s a powder keg. Picture this: while ICE agents are getting pummeled at record levels just for doing their jobs, a sitting congressman from New York, Jerry Nadler, stands there and blinks like he’s never even heard of such attacks. On national television. And Tom Homan, President Trump’s former Border Czar, didn’t just roll his eyes—he went scorched earth, calling Nadler a “buffoon” and flat-out accusing him of knowing exactly what’s happening but pretending otherwise.

Let’s pause on that for a second. ICE agents are reporting an 830% surge—yes, eight‑hundred‑thirty percent—in assaults. That’s not a typo, not a rounding error. It’s a tidal wave of violence.

And Democrats? Instead of condemning it, you’ve got Rep. Eric Swalwell actually suggesting these agents brought it on themselves because they’re supposedly “terrorizing” people. This is the world we’re in: the people tasked with removing murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and terrorists from our neighborhoods are now the villains in some bizarre political script.

Then comes the jaw‑dropper. Fox correspondent Johnny Belisario asks Nadler about these attacks, and Nadler, deadpan, goes: “What attacks on ICE agents?” Are we supposed to believe that the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee somehow missed months of DHS reports, field briefings, and press conferences?

Homan didn’t buy it for a second. And he didn’t hold back, either. “This buffoon knows exactly what attacks — his party is the one encouraging them,” Homan snapped. He laid it out in brutal clarity: Democrats spend years smearing ICE as villains, and then feign shock when their rhetoric turns into assaults.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security—yes, even under this White House—had to acknowledge what’s happening. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin spelled it out in a statement that almost no one in the mainstream media is quoting.

These agents, she said, are risking their lives to haul in the worst criminals, and instead of backing them, “crazed rhetoric from gutter politicians” is fueling violence against them. That’s not just a warning. That’s a damning indictment of the culture Democrats have nurtured around law enforcement.

And here’s the kicker. Trump’s Rapid Response Team has already been posting receipts on X—threads of data, clips, and statements, all painting a picture that’s hard to ignore. But Democrats are banking on the public doing exactly that: ignoring it, shrugging, moving on. They’re counting on the distraction machine to keep people from asking why elected officials seem more interested in scoring points than protecting the men and women standing between our communities and violent criminals.

Tom Homan’s words weren’t just anger—they were a challenge. He’s daring the media, daring Congress, daring you to look at the numbers, listen to the officers, and ask the question no one on the left seems to want asked. Why are these attacks skyrocketing? Why are they being brushed aside? And most of all… what’s going to happen when someone finally forces the issue into the daylight?
