Four siblings who once described themselves as part of Michael Jackson’s “second family” are publicly accusing the late pop star of years of grooming, manipulation, and sexual abuse that allegedly began when they were children.
The Cascio siblings — Eddie, Aldo, Dominic, and Marie-Nicole — detailed the allegations during an interview with “60 Minutes Australia” that aired Sunday. Earlier this year, the family also filed a lawsuit accusing Jackson of sexually abusing them over a period spanning more than two decades.
“He’s a monster,” Dominic Cascio said during the interview. “He tricked the world into thinking he was this innocent person.”
The family’s relationship with Jackson began in the 1980s after their father met the singer while working at the Helmsley Palace Hotel in New York City. Over time, the Cascios became closely connected to Jackson and frequently traveled with him, visited Neverland Ranch, and spent holidays together.

The siblings said Jackson gained their trust by treating them like family and surrounding them with luxury, gifts, and exclusive experiences. Home videos featured during the broadcast showed Jackson visiting the family home and spending time with the children.
“My parents felt special, and so did we,” Eddie Cascio said. “He made us feel like we were his family.”
According to the lawsuit and interview, the siblings now believe that closeness was part of a long-term grooming process that led to years of abuse. The alleged misconduct reportedly occurred at Neverland Ranch, during international tours, and at homes connected to celebrities, including Elizabeth Taylor and Elton John.
Eddie claimed the abuse began during Jackson’s Dangerous World Tour in the early 1990s when he was still a child. Other siblings also accused Jackson of inappropriate behavior, manipulation, and emotional control.
The family further alleged Jackson exposed them to alcohol and prescription drugs at young ages and coached them on how to respond if questioned by adults or law enforcement.
Several of the siblings described feeling confused and manipulated at the time because of Jackson’s fame and influence.
“When you have the biggest superstar in the world wanting to be your friend, you’re vulnerable,” Dominic said.
Attorneys representing Jackson’s estate strongly denied the allegations. Lawyer Marty Singer dismissed the claims as financially motivated and noted that Jackson has been dead for more than 15 years.
“Sadly, in death just as in life, Jackson’s talents and success continue to make him a target,” Singer said in a statement.

The allegations add to decades of controversy surrounding Jackson, who faced multiple accusations of child sexual abuse during his lifetime but consistently denied wrongdoing before his death in 2009.
