Recently, Vice President Kamala Harris visited the ABC daytime show “The View.”
It was an in-depth interview where Harris touched on several topics, but it was something to behold.
Vice President Kamala Harris fumbled spectacularly on “The View,” a platform that usually provides a soft landing for Democratic leaders. In fact, “The View” could be considered one of the most favorable venues for Harris to discuss politics, yet it turned out to be the setting for what may be her most embarrassing media moment to date.
As the interview progressed, Harris was asked about President Joe Biden’s rumored decision to step aside, a topic that’s become increasingly delicate as concerns about his age and fitness for office grow. Harris’s story about how she heard the news continues to change, with this round including a strange detail about cooking a pork roast—a detail that seems out of place but is likely intended to add a touch of humanity. Yet, her attempt to appear grounded backfired, making her response seem disingenuous and rehearsed.
Her claims about “turning the page” on lies felt even more hollow. Harris, along with the Biden administration, is currently in power, making it hard to stomach the suggestion that they’re the ones cleaning up a mess. It comes across as deflection and projection, rather than accountability. She also brought up the administration’s failure to pass a certain bill they proposed on day one as evidence of obstruction, but the reality is, much of their immigration failure stems from the Biden team’s undoing of Trump’s border policies, leaving the system in disarray.
Kamala compares her coup against Joe Biden to the American revolution:

Perhaps most jaw-dropping was her attempt to position herself as tough on cartels, claiming to have prosecuted them. In truth, cartels have thrived under her and Biden’s watch, particularly due to policy failures at the southern border. This kind of rhetoric is easily dismantled by the facts, which is exactly what her critics did.

Then came the political debacle over a phone call with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Harris tried to frame DeSantis as avoiding her call for political reasons during Hurricane Milton’s devastation. But DeSantis quickly shut down that narrative, pointing out that she hadn’t called or offered assistance during any of the past three years of Florida disasters, and that Biden had already handled the situation. Her attempt to make it a political issue backfired, making her seem petty in the midst of a crisis.
Kamala Harris gets called out on The View for never having called Ron DeSantis in the past about hurricanes and only now doing it for political reasons.

Finally, in what could be the most damaging admission, Harris declared that there was “not a thing that comes to mind” that she would have done differently than Biden over the past four years.
Trump is probably laughing as soon as he heard that.
“If anything, would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?”
KAMALA: “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”
